I got lucky on Friday and was able to head out to this show prior to their evening performance. They had plenty to offer though not very many classic planes. I did enjoy watching the Blue Angels again and seeing some of the acrobatic shows. The heritage flight of the P-51, F-16 and A-10 were nice too. I never realized how quiet those A-10's were until I was one flying around....you would never know it was there until after the bombs were on target! Got to walk through an C-5A Galaxy cargo plane and that was impressive...they are huge! Also got to walk around several versions of the F-18, A-10, F-15, F-5, C-130, AH-46 Apache, H-3 Seaking, F4 Corsair and numerous types of trainers. Seeing that Corsair fly around was a real treat too. I really wanted to get closer looks at the P-51 but it was not open for public viewing. The Apache did a demo as well and I was really surprised at how quiet it was too. All in all it was a fun time.
