My Spitfire is starting to look rather "Swedish"...
I started of with the Fujimi Mk XIVc kit in 1/72. This was my first attempt at pre-shading, and I was quite pleased with the result.
Having shown this to the good people at the homepage of IPMS Stockholm , I was persuaded to rescribe the panellines on the wings, to correct the outlet flaps etc. This was another first...
Tonight, I've added the decals.

I have to wait for a while before I get the correct canopy... I'll post more pictures when it's all done.
I'm pretty new to the game, so all comments are welcome!

Nice looking Spitfire!
It's always fun to see such a beautiful plane in something other than its traditional RAF plumage

Very nice, Spitfires always look good but particulary so in PRU Blue. The sweedish markings seem made for this scheme
I haven't yet got one in PRU Blue, I thougfht I would have soon but the one I was hoping for, a MkVII has not emerged
"You just can't have to many Spitfires"

Thanx for all the nice comments! Of course there are going to be more Spitfires - The most beautiful aircraft in the world. I'm already planing an Israeli Mk IX and its Egyptian counterpart in 1/48. And since I have ordered the Falcon set of spitfire canopies in 1/72 (19 different spits!) in order to get the right one for this Mk XIX S31, I will have plenty of incentive to continue building just about all models! :-)
