Hi all,
I skimmed over recent posts and didn't see (or missed) mention of two new a/c kits that have recently been announced.
Hasegawa will be releasing a new tool 1/72 B-25 and a new tool 1/48 F-8 Crusader!
MMmm...I'm hungry!
:-)

Yup, definitely looking forward to the new-tool F-8 from Hasegawa, but even more than that, I'm really looking forward to the new 1/32 F-105 from Trumpeter. It will be released in both the single seat 'D' as well as the Wild Weasel 'G' versions. Gonna have to clear out some shelf space for these two!
Hats off to Trumpeter for tackling subjects that would never be produced by any of the other manufacturers, and with each new release, the quality of their kits increases. Can't wait to see the 1/32 Flanker next year! With any luck, we'll see them release a 1/32 Intruder or A-7 Corsair II in the next few years. I'd also be willing to go out on a limb and say that a 1/32 F-100 would be a safe bet eventually.....

I can't wait to get my hands on those Thuds either (the G will be done in SEA camo and I think I'll do the D as the last reserve unit with the wrap around scheme, who's gonna make those decals first).... ANYWAY, what's the word on the Academy 1/32 F/A-18 (1 and two seats), I think I saw a listing that has the single seat version out next spring. You guys hearing anything?

Hi Prok Chop,
I can't wait for that 32 scale F/A-18 either...... #:-) 1 seat or two doesn't matter to me, as long as I can get a Hornet in that scale....
BTW....Welcome to the site

I'll get up on my soap-box again---Hasegawa, How about a current production Hornet C. Not another reissue of the same old Lot 12 that came out 10 years ago!

As far as the 1/32 Hornet goes, last I heard was that some of the masters had to be re-worked for some unknown reason. The most recent release date I've come across is mid-2003, but for some reason, this kit just keeps getting pushed back. I'm not getting rid of my Hasegawa Hornet and Paragon update set just yet!
As for new 1/32 jets, here's what I'd like to see:
1. AV-8B
2. A-7E
3. A-6E/EA-6B
4. Su-25
5. F-100
A little bit of an ambitious wish list, but hey: up until a year ago, I never thought I'd see a 1/32 A-10 either, so with a little luck, maybe we'll see one or more of these.
I also understand that Trumpeter is releasing a 1/35 Hind either this year, or early 2003 - now THAT is going to be one impressive helicopter in 1/35!!!!! Now, how about a nice 1/35 AH-1F MOD Cobra to go with it?

Thanks for the welcome Penny.
Nice work on your web page by the way....
I'm just glad to see Trumpeter putting out large scale kits, and kits of stuff no one else is touching at the moment. I agee a F-100 would be fantastic.... think of the fun doing that in a bare metal finish in in 1/32....
Call me when that 1/35 MH-53J is ready for release....... (deam on, dream on)

Oh my lord! A 1/35 MH-53 !!! HaHaHaHa! #:-)
Now THAT would be IMPRESSIVE!!!!
And I have to agree with one item on the wishlist above that I never considered. A big scale AV-8B would indeed look sharp.

Don't laugh too hard about that 1/35 PaveLow:
Not so long ago, I received an e-mail from a gentleman in Germany (I think his name was William Beasley), who informed me that he was working with several other people to produce a 1/35 multimedia kit of the MH-53J. Granted, much of it will be vac-form, and will probably require a lot of added extra detail, but I think it would be interesting enogh to convince me to build a vac.
Seems as though every year the wish list gets smaller. If this comes to pass (along with the 1/35 Hind from Trumpeter), the only two left on my helicopter wish list will be the Seaking and AH-1F MOD Cobra in 1/35. I'm actually kind of surprised that MRC never thought of doing the whole Army Cobra series. Depending on how you broke down the parts, it would be possible, with certain additions and modifications, to do the whole line of Army Cobras in 1/35. Maybe someday......

I'm not so worried about the Thuds, but I think I'm definitely going to need some more shelf space once those 1/32 Flankers come out!

OMG... -drooling on keyboard... a 1/32 Su25 with full options weapons loadout..Merkury (sp?) guidance pod and E/O weapons.. -sorry must go get towel to contain drooling..
It would sure save me from these 1/72 Italeri/Zvezda jobbies..
A set of the " frog smashing the tank" decals included and I'm golden!
1/35th Hind... the slush fund is ready and waiting.
MH-53.. line me up too..
but lets do an early Cobra gunship and a Cobra w TOW mount Nam style.. and a UH1D slick.. yeah, I know aobut Panda... I can't wait!
but 1/32 Su25 or two seater or upgraded.. drooling again....

They don't have a built-up picture of the F-105G yet. Whether that says anything or not I don't know.

IRT Hasegawa F-8 Crusader: I hesitate to get excited about the F-8 Crusader from Hasegawa as well. Until I can hold it in my own quivering sweating hands and confirm that it is not the Hasegawa boxing of the Revellogram F-8
I agree with what you said about waiting til you crack the box BUT, as I mentioned in my original post, the Crusader has been announced as 'NEW TOOL' and therefor will not be a re-boxed anything. :-)
