Ok...So I was going to ask you what the best air-craft of WWII was (personal opinion of course) But that would turn neighbor against neighbor, friend against friend :-)

:-) !
So I won't do that... But I will ask, what's your favorite bird to build?
Cheers!

Hi Scott
Wow! That's a difficult question! Whether we're talking aircraft or kits, it's an impossible one for me to answer!

The really sad thing is I love them ALL! I must admit I'm a sucker for the lesser known (or less frequently built...) types, but every subject offers different challenges, be it construction, interesting camouflage or whatever...
I've just started a Gladiator, a Maryland and a P-40L - so they must be my favourites at the moment!
Ohh - I suppose I answered after all!
All the best

Impossible to answer, I like all the models I build.

Oh Mal come on you can say it, something " You can't have too many of" you know starts with "Spit" ends with "fire", who do you think you're kidding? :-)

I love those gull wings, Stuka, Corsair and the immense B-52. I won't tell you which one because I don't have to. You see I'm on this armor kick so I won't be around much to kick around.

For me, it's WWII aircraft in general. I'm willing to try just about any aircraft from that time period. Just classic across the board.
But, if I found myself drawn to any particular aircraft, it's been Mustangs, Corsairs, and Thunderbolts. I like the Mustang's lines, the Thunderbolt's brute force, and I guess I've been hung up on Corsairs since I was a kid hooked on "Baa Baa Blacksheep" on TV.

I really like WWII Luftwaffe aircraft in general. However, I am currently working a Bf 109, my second one, so I would have to say that's my favorite

So far, I have really enjoyed all of them that I have built. I guess my favorite might have been hasegawa's 1/48 hellcat, but that is mostly due to the fact that I love the hellcat.

Well...since I started this I might as well throw in my $.02
I'm a sucker for all things WWII...Basically, if it's 1/72 and around $10 I'm sold. :-)
I will say though that I have a special place in my heart for kit's when they're built in scheme's that you don't see every day... Like Italian 109's or Soviet P-40's/P-39's
Thanks for shareing your favorites everyone!

It is certainly true that "you just can't have to many Spitfiresw" and I love building them, so if I had to choose then it would have to be the Spitfire

Any WWII combat aircraft with twin radial engines and Italian tri-motors.
Or just any radial powered aircraft, sorry just don't like the in-line engine.
Ciao

For me, its 1/48 Hawk 75/P-36's and P-40's. I have several sitting around but I gotta take care of some armor first!
