Here is a pic of my recently completed Arado 234b from Hasagawa. It's 1/48th scale and a dream to build. there few areas of concern with this kit. Comments are welcome.

Nurse shark?
Nice camo, what AB did you use?
The canopy seems a bit fogged up, but maby that is just the photo?
Have you got any more photos?
cheers

Very nice Arado Steve, I too like the look of the "Nurse Shark" paint scheme, well put Anne. I'm hoping to get one of these for my birthday

ive just built one of these, and finished it as that same aircraft, although i have to say your camo looks a lot more subtle than i was able to manage. the only part of the build that i felt was awkward was joining the cockpit "pod" to the fusalage, that apart it went together really nicely, i'd post a pic up but my gallery seems to have disapeared.....JIIIIIIIM!!

First are some more pics as requested!
OK now for the Questions...... 1. I use 2 AB's for my work, my large area brush is an Iwata HP-BC2, and for small amounts of paint and detail work I use an Iwata HP-C gravity feed AB. I use Testors model master paints. I find them easy to thin and work good on all subjects. 2. Its the only major flaw to the kit..... there is a mold line on the inside of the nose peice. Hasagawa used a 2 peice mold to make that peice to get the compound curve the correct shape. The only other issue was masking the inside of the forward fuselage (done in clear plastic.) Hasagawa fixed this issue when they did the Arado 234C for Monogram's ProModeler line. thanks for the comments. STUG

looking at your "top down" pic reminded me of another fiddly part, mainly that top clear plastic section that didn't fit too well on mine resulting in quite a bit of filling and rescribing. how did you get that top window so clear, in fact it looks like there isn't anything there at all. heres a pic of mine from my fotopic gallery (hopefully)

Phil, thats is the Aircraft Modelers favorite trick. Future (Klear in the UK) floor polish!!!!!!I us it alot for my canopy and other clear peices. Especially if I need to add PE parts to them. I was hoping it would help with the nose but it seems there was just toom many little scratches for it too fill them all. STUG
