Well, after living in Japan and building a lot of Hasagawa kits. I notice that alot of timesthey will release them under one series is the original version of a kit (ie 1/32nd=S) and that is the main series of the of the kits. Then with all special markings are in another series (ie 1/32nd=St.) Understand without actually talking to a rep or shop owner I can't confirm this, but I make this assumtion based on the kits I own from Hasagawa almost every 1/32nd BF-109 and FW-190 kit. (Gotta love a 3 year tour in Modle paradise!! ) The majority of the were in the S series, but few like My Hartman markings BF-109 G-4 was a special St series kit just like the Rudel marked FW190 D-9 is special edition as well also a St series kit. Hope that helps. STUG
PS They sometimes use the other eries for limited run Variants of the kits.
