Well, it looks like the tread heads can't get all the attention around here, since I build both tracks and kites I thought I would share my F-84. Finshed with alclad ll and built OOB. Marked as a SAC bird post Korean conflict.
All comments are welcome and appreciated, thanks for peeking....

Is this the 1/48 kit? I have this and I'm undecided what markings to use.

Hello Mal,
Yes it is indeed the 1/48th kit. I built it for therapy, as I had read through a few reviews that stated the kit absolutely fell together, which I found to be true. The markings included are very colorful, but I found that the Tamiya decals were too thick to apply properly, as they did not respond to Micro set/sol, and the complex curves on the nose and tip tanks confounded thier placement. The canopy was a challenge, masking and painting the light gray re-inforcement "greenhouse" took a lot of time and care.
Good luck on your build..LOL

Hi Steve.
Good looking jet. I love when someone put a metal finished on.
But one think that i like to comment is the panel lines. Are u plan to give the lines washes or something else to highlight them? I think your model will be really good if the panel lines are highlighted.
thanks

No, I won't be doing anything to the panel lines. I look at the real thing and I don't see it.
