Does anyone amongst the esteemed members of this hallowed forum know if anyone makes a 1:72 scale Spitfire pilot (circa 1944) preferably in a running pose (scramble!!) ? White metal, resin, whatever. I have just finished building Italeri's 1:72 Spitfire MK IX and would like to make a very simple vignette for it, my first I might add.

Airfix do a set of RAF Personnel in soft plastic. If memory serves, it included some scrambling pilots. Only ones I can think of ,off hand.

Here are some links for you over at squadron:

Was gonna list more but no others had pics. Heller apparently makes a set of RAF crew in 1/72 as well.

Guess what, the set is old and discontinued. Not to mention the fact that Squadron are based in the US and even if I fulfill the $10 minimum order I'm still paying $25 postage!!!!With such a market for WWII aircraft kits there must be someone out there that makes crew figures in 1:72

I think I could have some Airfix pilots somewhere. I shall check, however, but if I have them, I can send them to you.
