Just can't understand why there's no seatbelt in this kit? That's all it needs.......Mike T

Mike absolutly superb, what have you used for the rigging. This looks like a fun build, I was thinking of getting one, how is it to build?
You must enter this into the Model of the Month for April. I'm just about to start the thread

that looks great! is it a 1/72? ive been building the profipack version of this kit on and off for about two years, how did you paint your propeller, ive still got to do the one on mine, and was going to use some paint and grain, which is ok but can look a bit like its just painted brown. good job on the rigging, i got mine half rigged before i put the top wing on, then had to adjust the struts to make it fit, that in turn threw all the rigging out, some snapped and others hung loose, at this point the kit went back in the box for 9 months!
edit i started mine for the age of aces campaign so i opened the box on july 14 2003!

Very nice build Sir. I really like the rigging and paint finish.

Just my observation. The way the propeller blades are angled, looks like the prop is attached the wrong way. Or its just me...

1/48. The rigging is .004 carbon fibre measure to fit, cut the fiber and glue it in place; the prop was painted wood tan, futured, then streaked with thinned raw umber and it only goes on 1 way so if it's backwards blame Eduard. If you want the fiber I sell it in tubes of 24" long sections. A tube lasts me through 65 plane/ship builds-a year's worth to me. Many years worth to the average builder. $75.

Hi Mike

That's superb!

I've got the kit and was going to do an in-box review... any chance you could do a full-build review? It'd be much bettter!

All the best

Mike that is superb.

I like your technique for rigging. Sounds easier than thread.

The prop looks like a work of art. But I have to agree with Lipton--it looks backwards. If it spins towards the leading edge it will act as in impellor and the plane will fly backwards, if you turn it around it will look funny since the blade shape is not asymmetrical! But that’s Eduards for ya.

Definitely should be entered in MoM.

Thanks for the comments guys. Found this photo:

Eduards looks right to me? As far as a review goes? Eduards kits keep getting better. No problems with this kit what so ever. Like I said-just needs a seatbelt now this one on the other hand (Hi-Tech AEG).......
