I spent most of the day getting my single seat Me 262 nightfighter ready for painting. I then took out the airbrush and painted it, and I also finished painting the Ta 154.
My hand and wrist were very sore after this "marathon." So I'll stop typing and just post the results of the day's work.
Thanks for letting me share the project with you !

Hi Bill
"Battle fatigue" from airbrushing ... but worth it! That's a nice job on the Ta 154's distinctive scheme. I've been trying to tell from photos whether the canopy was also mottled - it was certainly dark on some aircraft, but seems to look different from pic to pic.
Interestingly, some of the shots of TQ+XE seem to show a periscope on the canopy and some repairs, including a dark "patch" on the fin and rudder which seems to be peeling off. Do you know what that was?
All the best
Rowan

Thank you very much Rowan, Quinten, Carlos, and Olivier !
Rowan - I have those pics saved on my computer. This one seems to have RLM 76 canopy frames. As to the dark tail, I'm thinking that it may be part of an aerodynamic test. This Me 262 has the tail painted black, to which the ribbons were attached to show airflow. That's my best guess, though.
Carlos - I painted the schemes freehand, using Model Master enamels and a Badger 150 airbrush.
I anticipate being finished with all three by the weekend. Thanks again !
