ive started building an arado ar 240 aircraft and there isnt a lot of info around on this plane (i think they only built 2) my problem is, that in the wheel bays theres a lot of moulded on pipeing and i was wondering was there a standard set of colours for each system, i.e. ive seen yellow piping in 262 wheelbays, and if this is the hydraulic system, was all hydraulic pipework, in every plane the same

cheers phil

As a general rule, electrical cables are yellow and white, and hydraulics are black, dark green and dark red-brown. I'll take a look to see if I can find anything specific to the Ar 240.

Hi Phil

Just to add to what Bill's already written - according to the specs, oxygen systems would be blue.

All the best

cheers guys, thats probably info for me to be able to make the wheel wells and the cockpit look "busy" enough. ive found out today that at least ten of these aircraft were built, but due to instability problems they were cancelled in 1942
