Best Phantom Kits

Hi have just brought tamiyas 1/32 scale Phantom F4-J and blackbox cockpit set and now wish to get more phantoms, so which are the best kits in 1/72 scale and 1/48 scale? Cheers Bob.

Hey Bob I also have Tamiyas F-4J in 1/32, nice kit...Anyhow for 1/48th Hasegawa would be the way to go. Many aftermarket kits, PE and decals for the 1/48th scale kit. As for 1/72 never did any, reason being detail to small. I only wish that many of the other model makers would do as Tamiya did with their one piece fuselage. I also did the old Revell Phantom in 1/48th, I thought that was'nt a bad kit either.

In 72 the best are Hasegawa's, although a little fiddly to build. If you want a british one in 72, then Fujimi is the only way to go.

Thanks guys , it looks like Hasegawa are the way to go. My big phantom is leaving Hong Kong today along with tamiya's new F16 in 1/32 scale, Cheers Bob.
