Martin Ramsden (brandydoguk) takes a look at ICM''s 1/48 scale Spitfire Mk. IX - a real curate''s egg of a kit, but well worth checking out by Spitfire devotees.

Thanks for the review, it has tickled my interest in building a Spit again. The type IX is the most beautiful of the family in my opinion.

Nice review buddy, but most of the shortcomings of the ICM kit can be fixed using Ultracast bits.

I personnally always use Ultracast props, wheels and elevators.

And I already built two ICM Spits, with 22 in the stash!
