Just starting this model and the first aircraft I've done in 10 years. Was wanting any advice on this model.

Hi BC, Tamiya's Wildcat is an excellant kit, you shouldn't have any problems with the build. If memory serves me correctly there are 2 areas the you might want to address. The first is probably not necessary, unless you intend to have the cockpit open as it concerns cutting away part of the cockpit floor. The second is more noticeable as, I think, It requires the front of the engine to be cut back (not drastically) to prevent the prop from projecting to far forward. I built this kit some time ago so I will search out the reviews that I will have somewhere and get back to you.

Hello to all

Grumman aircraft has wonderful info right out the tech manual . This provides
many details landing gear ,engine and controls all very helpful in your build.
Cant give you a website,but it is out there. Your looking for their historial
division.
