Well here she is finished, sort of. The Helo it self is done and now i'm working on a base, carrier deck. I glued the blades in their folded postion, then they will be tied down and the wheel struts will be chained to the deck. I'm planning on doing a build feature by the weeks end, so there will be more pics to follow.

As for the panels lines being to dark...maybe they are, but in front of me they don't seem so. I think it's the lighting and still have a lot to learn, but will try to tone them down somehow. Thanks..

You did an awesome job. Good job toning down the panel lines and again your exhaust and fading is spot on. Can't wait to see the completed dio.

Mother I think the panel lines look good the way they are, When I first saw the pics yesterday, I thought they gave good contrast to the light paint job. After reading the comment about them being too dark I looked again and still think they look great. And most important if your happy with the way it turned out then your happy with the way it turned out. Keep up the good work.

Robert

Awsome job. Do you have any shots that show the interior? Maybe thru the ramp?
Great job Mother!

Thanks guys Hey Chuck there are photos of the interior in my gallery "helicopters". If anyone has plans on doing this helicopter i'll tell you this, dont spend the time working on the interior. You'll never see it unless you hold it up to your eye.

I am clearly not worthy, Joe. That is an absolutely stellar build and I can't wait to see the dio complete.

I wouldn't sweat the panel line thing!! On a lighter colored aircraft it would look heavy handed but on your chopper it is one of quality points of the paint and weather scheme that makes the copter "POP" as it were.

I like her just as she is!!!
