I saw a program on Discovery channel a couple of weeks ago where they showed something unusual.

I'm used to seing Me-262's with a front wheel, but this particular aircraft had a tail wheel.

Where this a prototype? Hope someone can enlighten me on the subject.

You assume correctly, Thomas. The Me 262 prototype was a tail dragger.

Hi Thomas

If you fancy building a really unusual '262, how about the prototype in its really early days? It flew with a tailwheel and a Jumo 210 piston engine in the nose.

All the best
