back in the day, I used to build 48th scale aircraft. I have some kits stashed away that were gathering dust and I realized they were at least 10 years old. Thought I might try to trade at next model show and then got to thinking how I could get taken to the cleaners if they were rare. So anybody knowledgeable:

Heller---Panavia Tornado 80430
AMT ----S3a Viking 8634
HiPM--- Arado 196 float 48-002
Hobbycraft----Ju 88G HC 1606
ARII-----Me 109G #13

Boxes have been opened, all but 1 are still in sealed bags, all have decals and instructions. I looked on Great MOdels, Squadron, and Roll models web sites and didn't find any of these kits

Thanks for the help guys. It looks like none of them are really valuable. Did find the Arado 196 is still available at Great MOdels.....for $45 or so bucks, so that'll help in getting something good in a trade

Hey Steve:

I don't know if you would be interested, but the Arii 109G can be built as a Galland 109F by purchasing the Aeromaster decals and leaving the gun humps off of the fusilage (In case you didn't notice, Arii makes them seperate so you can do this), and checking the cockpit framing for details.

This beats the cost of the $40 Galland 109F kit.

Tom

To convert the Arii Bf-109G to an F needs more than omitting the gun breech bulges. The F has an extra clear panel below the windshield (The Arii kit don't provide). The oil cooler radiator is shallower than the G. The wheel wells on the F is rounded. The wheels and tires are different. F has no wing bulges. I think the props and supercharger intake are different too.

That's a great thought Tom, but I really don't build much in aircraft any more. I've got a Me 109 F as a Trop version flown by "#14" a G from Erich and an E from Galland in my collection. I'm looking to try to get more of what I want by swapping the stuff that I don't want as my modeling budget is in its death throes right now
