Evening all!

If you have any information or resources available, could you please either post them to my email address or include it here. The information that I require is as follows:

* An internal view of the aircraft which shows the structural cofiguration of the aircraft

* The susceptibility of the aircraft to being tracked, targeted and fired upon

* Aircraft vulnerability to typical weapons systems used against it

* Structural repairability of the aircraft when operated from a forward base

Please don't hold back on info as the report has to be detailed.

Thanks in advance,

Cokes.

Following question came to my mind after reading the info you need:
Are you trying to build or take down an F-15??
:-) :-) :-)

Just kidding

Check out Steve Davies book Combat Legends F-15 Eagle and Strike Eagle. It has some outstanding pics and info on the Eagle. There's a shot in the book of an Israli F-15 with the right wing missing all the way to the wing root. And the pilot flew it back to the base, it was repaired and is flying today.

Morning all,

Switch the alarm bells off. I am an aeronuatical engineer and this report is for a course on structural repair, which deals with the structural integrity of military aircraft. I'm not after any restricted material - as everyone knows, masses of information are available to the everyday person on the internet. I understand your concerns, but I think that foreign intelligence agencies would have more high level methods of securing information than trolling modelling forums.

PS Paul, thanks for the link, some of the pics on there were really helpful and gave some great references. Jerry, I'll try and track down the book. Thanks for the help all.

Good to hear from another airplane guy. I just uploaded a pic of what I work on for a living. It's called the E-8C Joint-STARS. I talked to a few of my fellow mechs about your request for info on the F-15. We came to the conclusion that if you needed to ask for that info over the net, then you were either a student , building a dio or you flunked terrorist 101.
I highly reccomend the book if you can find it. Found it to be a treasure of info, and I worked On 15's in the Air Force. The A's and C's the E's were after my time. If I can help, let me know.
