NOTE: NEW PIX ADDED

Two models of my beloved P-40.

The first is the 1/48 Revell (now Revell-Monogram, and Pro Modeler) P-40E. I built it in the early 80's, painted with the late, great Pactra International series of USAAF OD and British 8th Army Desert Sand. Markings for a 5th Air Force bird c.1942.

THEN & NOW's next is my North African P-40F, one of the few short-tailed Fs USAAF took to war. AMT's kit built about 5 years ago.

Cockpit needs a bit of washing, both need antenne wires--pending.

Heck I think both would be acceptable (or is there a statute of limitations? I forgot)
