Imex Apache is not very accurate. This is especially true of their AH-64D Longbow, which is the same kit as their original A model Apache with added radome on top of the mast. An actual AH-64D has wider sponsons on either side of the fuselage, a different cockpit and many other smaller items changed from the A model. A better option is to get the 1/32 Revell AH-64A model It is pretty accurate for an A model Apache. Also, if you go to FineScale Modeler's Helicopter forum, there is the resident Apache expert there, Cobra Historian, who has written a book on Apaches and is building 3 of the Revell models now, after throwing the Imex ones in the trash. He can give you more insight into the poor Imex kit.
