Again thanks guys and gals for following my request to keep the voting simple, it certainly helps me when toting up the results.
The most number of 1st choice votes went to Mother with 7 (21 points).
The most number of 2nd choice votes went to CaptKelly with 5 (10 points).
The most number of 3rd choice votes went to Mother with 6 (6 points).
A few less members cast a vote this time, 21 (26 last time) but there were quite a few more entries, 13 (9 last time) and the results are as follows:
8th= JPTRR, BrandydogUK, bf443 0 points
7th OllieC-FWOL 1 point
6th= Matrixone, Wingman, Newtothegame, Holdfast 5 points
5th Wad Ware 15 points
4th Modelguy2 16 points
3rd CaptKelly 19 points
2nd Merlin 24 points
1st Mother 31 points
Congratulations Mother nice to see a helo taking the prize. Well done to Merlin and Captkelly as well, worthy runners up.
Well done to everyone taking part.
I do hope that those that didn't receive a great number of points aren't put off by the fact and will post this month. Remember you can re-enter a model up to 3 times.
Are there any comments on anything to do with the MOM? Is it worthwhile putting the thumbnails in the voting thread?
To solve the problem of capturing pictures for the gallery it would be useful if pictures for the MOM are hosted on Armorama. If you have a problem with space then once I have copied and put them in a folder in the gallery then you can delete them out of your personal gallery. You will still have access to them, for posting etc but you can, if you like delete it. Of course there is always the A-Guard.
Does any have any thoughts on a "challenge" MOM. Just something I thought of to get a bit of extra interest. To be done in the same vain as the MOM (ie friendly) but for, say, specific aircraft? Format something like; a member issues a challenge (posts a pic of a.......er Spitfire model of theirs Others post pics of their Spitfire models, voting takes place? Any thoughts

All right....cool. Mal thanks for the group build. You put in a lot of your time keeping this togather. There sure are some great looking planes being built by some of the best aircraft members. I'd never thought a helicopter could compete with some of the planes and jets this month. You guys did a awsome job...congrats
The producers are telling me we need to go to a commercial :-) :-) :-)
Lastly...Thanks to everyone who voted, not just for me but for everyone. Hope to see everyone back and even a few more entry's.....

Congrats Mother. That's one model to be proud of. Great build. Did you ever think of building the 1/48 scale Doldhin from Trumpeter? That is a SWEET looking chopper. Again, great job. To everyone else that posted pics, they all looked great, this is a great idea here on a great website. Thanks to everyone behind the scenes too. Keep up the good work, Wingman out.

Definately a large a well deserved congratulations to Mother. I can't wait to see your current helicopter build here for the MOM someday .
The only bad part of MOM is that having a winner means there are non-winners, but they are all great and amazing builds. It is a great showcase of talent!
Thanks all.
Leon

Yes it's a pity but this is working out to do what it was ment to do, get more pics of model aircraft into the gallery. Anyone taking part is a winner, there models will become a permanent feature in the gallery. At the end of the year we will have a model of the year vote, for those that won in the MOM's there is nothing to stop us doing a best 2nd, 3rd and unplaced. So keep em coming I don't want this to be seen as something of an elitist thing, because it is not. I think we are starting to see that anything is capable of winning (even a rearity like a finished model of Merlin's does well :-) )
I will say it again, please don't be put off if you didn't recieve a great many votes, the way this is going it will be the model that is a little different that will, at the moment, take the prize (so to speak). So watch out when I get my BV 141B finished
I would like to encourage the younger members to get stuck in so I'm thinking about a "junior" model of the month. Any thoughts about this?

Chief, The galleries for the Aircraft MOM are HERE
You will find the latest MOm (June) in a "sticky" near the top of the forum page, the rules are up there as well.
A P-40 would be a great addition to this or any up and coming MOM.
