Hi guys. Just wanted to show you some pics of Hasegawas P-40E that I just started building. Cockpit detail is very nice. When I was at the MFCA show in King of Prussia I was invited to bring my "American" themed dios to a celebration for the Vets of WWII in Washington, D.C. I was going to start a P-40 from the Pacific theatre but my dad mentioned that I might want to build a Flying Tiger for the kids that were going to be there. I know when I was young, the Flying Tiger P-40 was an awesome looking plane. The event isn't 'till November. I'll keep you posted with any info I receive. Thanks for looking guys, Wingman out.

Hi Wingman!

Hope this will be a hassle free build! Not like Fred's "Nightmare P-40"

Take care!

Thanks for the kind comments guys. I'll post pics as the build goes on. I should be installing the cockpit and the intakes and closing up the fuselage on Thursday. If I have any problems like Fred ran into, I'll let you know, thanks for looking, Wingman out.

Hi Michael

That's looking great.

Would you believe it... I actually blocked out a review of this kit a while back, but never had a chance to publish! Doh!

I'll have to see if there's a way of combining my sprue-shots with your and Fred's build-pics and comments to give an all-encompassing P-40 fest!

Fred's "nightmare" seems to follow what I spotted as areas of concern, but I certainly didn't predict quite the scale of problems he encountered - maybe he bought a "duffer"...

All the best

Hi Michael

I'm still slightly in "post holiday shell-shock" - WOW! You guys have been busy while I was away! - yeah... give me a day or so and let's work out the best way to tackle the review.

I think this could be an Armorama first... Jackflash and I tackled a joint WW1 fighter review a while ago, but a 3-party over-view?... it could be really great way to ensure a unarguably balanced view of the kit.

All the best

Rowan
