Hi all!
I just finished my Polikarpov I-153 "Tchaïka" for the "Two Wings and a Prayer" Campaign.
The Classic Airframes 1/48 kit was build OOB with some "adjustments" to details. you can read more on the Campaign thread. Overall it took me 15 days to finish the kit so it was a pretty straightforward one. In all, a nice little kit, not too easy but not to hard! The camouflage was what made me nervous first but I managed to use paper maskings wich made the whole thing easier...
You can see more pictures and "in progress" shots in my gallery! A bientôt!

Beautiful, I see what we will be up against in next months MOM
I don't have one of these, but I have, now, on my wish list.

Nice job on the Gull !
The scheme looks a little familiar. I did the same one a little while ago: http://www.pix.prettyneatinc.com/polikarpovbuild.htm

Thanks Mal and Bill!
I knew you made the same model Bill! Paul Sonnemans (007) pointed my to your posts and it was very helpful! For the decals, for example, I simply tried to go around the problem you noticed by leaving a space free of green camouflage as you can see! So thank you again!
Mal, for next MOM I have another model in mind... I'll see

I'm sure it will be a winner, whatever it is.
