Hi all,
Lately I have found more and more coloured PE sets for aircraft (instrument panels etcetera). Although they look great, I don't know if I want to buy them because if you use them you don't have to paint the panels yourself anymore, which is less fun and (for myself) it looks like I have been "cheating". Because if you start buying pre painted PE, why not buy a pre painted model which you only have to put ina display case?
Does anybody feel the same way?
cheers,
Matthijs

Hi Mat
at the risk of people shouting..."fence sitter"...I agree with you as long as your eyes are up to painting the rivets on a seatbelt anchor plate for example.
But if your eyes are not good enough then I can't argue with using them.
Also when doing Luft 46 stuff , the cockpits tend to be done in standard colours etc anyway, its the camo job and decalling that gives me at least the buzz.
Cheers
