A friend is building a Kangnam Mig-29. It seems that the instruction sheet does not include a painting guide.
Thanks guys and gals!

There are many different color variations, but a pretty standard Russian one, also common for export, would be a two-tone banded scheme: FS 36375 gray on the upper surfaces and FS 34233 green-gray. The lower surfaces are a uniform FS 36375. The radome is darker, similar to FS 36118. In Central Europe, like Czech, and Germany, the a/c is often a brown based four to five tone scheme, but I don't know any exact colors to it. Cockpits are mainly a light gray with black around the individual instruments, I know nothing of the seats.

Thanks AIRB842586! That's exactly what I need!
Camo is usually applied in a sharp-edged, straight line pattern right? Almost like the German splinter camo in WWII?

No problem, I'm not really sure, it may vary. I'd guess they're fairly straight with a little feathering due to overspray.

Hi Jeepney,
The camo lines are not sharp on the Mig29. They are feathered at the edges.
If you want, I have kit camo instructions for a 1/72 Mig29 Academy kit (which I utterly ruined). if you want, i can scan that and send it across. Send me a PM if you want it .
Cheers,
BP.

Click HERE to go to a neat site I found with colour profiles of a bunch of different russian A/C. The link will take you to the MiG-29 page but I'm sure Yall can figure out the root page for the entire site.
