Is that the hasegawa 1/48 A7 alongside for comparison? I have this kit and it's very accurate. The nose on the Trumpeter kit seems to be a different shape, as does the fin? Not really wanting to go this route but I haven'y yet bought one of there kits because I haven't much liked what I've seen. I particularly don't like the oversized indented rivet detail that is to far from the panel lines, it looks very odd.
