Here is my Helicopter collection, mostly Hueys that range from 1/72 to 1/24. Remember the 1/24th Monogram had out, clear body with the frame work and it was motorized with sound. That’s one I’d like to get my hands on. Most of the 1/48 kits come from the same mold, but it’s the box art that I like the most. There are some beautiful illustrations on the box tops. It’s getting harder to find other kits on ebay since the only ones coming up are the ones I have. If anyone knows of a list of every Huey kit in all scales made please let me know.

Thanks Sabot

Jonathan I’m sure one or two will eventuality hit the bench. :-) :-) :-) The Blue Thunder kit, I've seen it but never bothered with it as I don't know anything about it. What's it really about, a movie Apache on steroids

How about donating some of those kits to us new people?

I just paid $65 for a Tamiya F4U-1D kit, because I can't buy them local and need to buy them online.

I can't be sure, but I'm getting a feeling that you like helos, and it's a close race, but the Huey is your favorite? That's a darn fine collection, but you know which one really caught my eye? The Revell 1/48 CH-53 CS/G! That's a real find. Thanks for look at your stash, though.

Kinda sucks if you want one in the middle. I can see it now:

Modeller killed by huge stash

Associated Press

New York - A man today was killed when trying to pick his next project. "His was loved by so many," commented a distant neighbor...

Nice stash.

Howdy mother,

Nice stash of wind torture device's ya got there! It probably rivals even Gino's collection of rotary wing subject matter....

But, if you don't mind, I'll just take the Dragon AH-6J 'Little Bird' and the Dragon OH-5A Cayuse and add them to my shopping cart.....you won't miss them, will you?

Tread.

what maker is are the two hueys stacked bove the Academy Hueys?

I saw these at a LHS once, looked inside and they seemed pretty decent as far as detail goes.
how are they compared to Academy's?

Yes RIMA that is Verlindens resin landing craft. I bought it from another modeler and I have plans on converting it into a Naval Tango boat w/ Helicopter pad.
