G'day Folk's,
This 48 Hasegawa Hs 129 B1 with exception of the rear fuselage theatre band is strickly OOB, the enamels are all from the Xtra Cloour range, the mottle or blotching is done free hand and the waethering is all with pastels. The white under wing tip theatre bands have been painted in Boyds White Primmer.

Robert
The blotch scheme has come up really well - is it airbrushed?
How was the build - I have looked at this kit a couple of times and am again considering buying one?
I hope the piloy has his blind flying certificate up to date. :-)

Nice job Robert.
What did you use for the dull-coat? - it's done a great job killing the Xtracolor gloss.
All the best

Hi Robert,
Isn't the Hs-129 just a cool machine I've built probabaly a dozen in my life, but none in the past 25 years! And those Afrikan colors, IMHO can't be beat! My favorite European campaign in North Africa and Afrika Korps, and many of my models are built for it. You combined the best of both.
A marvelous model. Glad you went light on the weathering.
P.S., wanna see my FW-190 in same colors?

Very nice Henschel Robert, the desert camo is very well done. The Hasegawa kit is a beaut aint it? I've built one and have a second, which I might do in the desert scheme.

Looding very good! I wonce saw a pic of a Bf-109 in a similar scheme fliying over the desert, and you could hardly see it! I would have thaught that the paint would be mere worn after some time in the dust and sun, but that is my opinion.
cheers

Good job Rob. I have this same kit. I just might build this one next after the Warhawk. Not sure what paint scheme to go with yet, Wingman out.
