I have been working on a 1/72 Su-27 in Russian Fleet Colours and was just wondering about contrast. I sprayed it Tamiya Sea Grey first, then added Tamiya Pale Blue and Testors Flat White for the Camo. The result looks okay but i find there is not enough contrast between the Grey and the Blue compared to the white. Is there any way to reverse the process and what steps should i do to change the contrast in the future?

Hi Jared
I don't know the scheme you describe but, according to "scale effect" theory, the contrast between colours would be reduced a bit in 1/72 scale.
But if you want to increase the contrast, I guess you could simply add a dash of white to the Pale Blue and a dash of black to the Sea Grey.
I hope this helps
