my folks are going to get me the Italieri A-1 skyraider for my birthday. now what ordnance comes with the kit? What normally would be found on a Sandy?
I'd like to put a naplam canister and zuni pod on either side. along with the 250lb'ers on the rest of the hardpoints

Italeri Skyraider A-1H in 1:48 scale? It is a good kit reboxed from the old ESCI but not the best Skyraider in this scale. I'd built this kit and the other Spad: Revell-Monogram, Matchbox and Tamiya. My opinion: Tamiya Skyraider is the best but you would like to built this aircraft with naplam canisters, zuni pod... the Italeri is the good choice, you don't have to spend much more money for the weapons.

Hi AJ
This site has information on the typical Sandy weapon load.
http://skyraider.org/hook/weapons.html#anchor1727724
I can recommend this book
Wayne Mutza. The A-1 Skyraider in Vietnam: The Spad's last war, Schiffer Publishing Ltd. ISBN: 0-7643-1791-1
Its expensive but contains a lot of information and pictures including a wide variety of ordance loads.
