Hi everyone. Been gone for a while with having a baby born 19 months ago he's finally old enough that I can now get back into building models again.
My new project is a P-51D Mustang from the Nebraska ANG circa early 1950's .
Here's a pic of the real aircraft flying over Memorial Stadium in Lincoln Nebraska in the 1950's.
I'm using the Monogram 1/48 Big Beautiful Doll P-51D and going to, for the first time, printing my own decals. Has anyone used the Testors decal kit for for inkjet printers? Curious to know if they work well.
Will post pics when done. May get so progress pics too if I remember to get batteries for my digital camera.

Finally finnished with the Nebraska ANG P-51D. It was a fun project and had some luck with the decals printed on the inkjet.

Great job. Decals look perfect. I have used Testor's and other brands of decal paper. I have had no problems with any of them and love making my own customized decals. Again, looks great.
