Dan brought his latest BUFF to our meeting this week and I took a few pics.
More pics of this plane and a few others from Resin night on the site.

That BUFF is huge! And it's a 1/72 kit? Amazing.

Looks great, is it the Revell kit? The B-52 has long been my favorite plane and I have always wanted to build the kit but have never been much for the Vietnam camo scheme that the kit was made for. This may be my inspiration to build one of my own with the BUFF scheme. Or better yet, custom build the bomb bay as seem in Dr. Strangelove.

I've always liked the natural metal SAC scheme with the anti-radiation white. It's a classic look. I have that one as well. In fact I have three B-52s G, a D (X-15 launcher) and a D with a Hound Dog. I haven't built them yet. I don't know where I'd put them along with the 1/48th B-1, B-29 B-17, and 1/72nd B-36......
I need my own building.
Tell Dan I thought he did an excellent job!
I really like his wing walks.

Good looking model!
Monogram/Revell kit?
I built one as a kid--the box was so big, and so sturdy, that it was my portable modeling station for 15 years!

Beautiful build, I think big kits always look so good in BMF. Thanks for sharing your skill with us.

Yep guys, it is the Revell 1/72nd scale kit.
Here is another pic.
That is another club member contemplating the competition for the upcoming Shocon (Gathering) at the end of this month.
