Hi there

LOL! Talking to Mal, we discussd the need to get our workshops in shape... well I promise you this isn't a fix - none of this debris was placed for the photo! Officially - as of 10 pm 30.08.05 - this is the state of my workshop...

I think I may have found one reason why I get so little built... I can't actually get to my modelling desk!

My Summer-Resolution was to try to get in an hour per day modelling... I'll update that - first of all, I'll clear a space to work in! :-)

Does anyone else have a similar horror story? I live in hope...

All the best

Rowan

PS - nothing you can add will hurt worse than looking at this scene of destruction...

Looks very, very familiar, LOL!
Luckily, I have the right tool for the cleaning job...

Cheers

errr... PolarBear

Can you actually see anywhere to build or paint in them? That was the intention once upon a time... :-)

OK - Big Plan! I'll have a very different pic to post from the same angle by the end of next weekend! Erik... I'll let you know if I need help! :-)

All the best

holy crap i dont feel so bad about messing mine up now.

I personally need alot of space when building models as i get distracted easily so i need to only be able to see the model im building otherwise i would never finish it. :-)

I can see your problem right away Rowan, you have got too much stuff, so out off the generosity of my heart me and my friend the cardboard box will come round and tidy up :-) :-) .
Seriously i hope you manage to clear some space so you can start and finish some models again.
I have managed to get myself into a routine off tidying up after every session (stops the beloved nagging as well).
cheers Andy

what i do with my modelling space is that i make it a pt to clean and tidy it up after each build... i have not choice... if the room is a mess, my commander-in-chief might lock the room all together! :-) :-) :-) :-)

seriously, a messy space might be a potential hazardous place to work on...

Eeek! That's MESSY?

Good grief Kevin! Even after a frantic clear-up, there's no way I can hope to get things looking that sorted...

Seriously,Rowan,
After evry build session, take a moment to put tools back (Makes 'em easier to find).
Put paints back in some kind of box,and leave what you were working on where it is. That way you will see what you are going to do next. The clutter will be downgraded a bit.

And the Carpet monster will have hunger pains. (++) (++)

LOL! Oh the shame of it!...

Yes, it's Tamiya's 1/48 scale Sherman. I grabbed it as soon as it come out with a view to reviewing it... I naively didn't realise the armour guys would get as excited by 1/48 armour as has happened. :-)

I do wish Tamiya would release more vehicles directly related to aircraft modelling - hopefully, it won't be too long before we see a Jeep, at the very least...

All the best
