Again thanks guys for following my request to keep the voting simple, it certainly helps me when toting up the results. There were a couple of smilies but I let them go, this time. Those that had missed the request but subsequently removed the comments a very big thank you. You probably don't realise how difficult it can make the vote counting but now having asked on every vote since this was started I will reiterate the request on the vote thread but say no more about it and any votes that do not comply will be ignored. Sorry but I just can't afford the time
OK enough of my griping, here's how it went:
The most number of 1st choice votes went to modelguy2 with 18(54 points).
The most number of 2nd choice votes went to mother with 15 (30 points).
The most number of 3rd choice votes went to Tedmamere with 10 (10 points).
38 members cast their votes, the biggest turn out yet as was the amount of entries 13. Here's how we did:
10th= Holdfast and Pixilater 1
9th Matrixeone 3
8th newtothegame 5
7th=Archerwin and CaptKelly 6
6th= BrandydogUk and LordQ 7
5th JPTRR 9
4th PolerBear 25
3rd TedMamere 31
2nd Mother 58
1st ModelGuy2 71
So the top 4 took so many votes the rest of us hardly got a look in but mother and Modelguy2 really stormed away with it, well done. At one stage it was neck and neck between these to and in the early days Polerbear was in the lead. I must admit to being pleased that a WWI model took the prize, but mother as consistant as ever.
Thanks guys for the great turnout, both in the entrants and voting, lets see if we can top it this month.
1st Modelguy2
2nd Mother
3rdTedMamere

Hi all!
Congratulations to the winner(s)... I think the two first were a class on their own (did I say it right )
Polarbear, I'm sorry for taking you a place on the podium, you deserved it!
Anyway, thanks to all that have participated AND voted! I think the MOM reaches it's cruise speed and the "contest" is in very good hands!
Good work and thank YOU Mal for giving us the possibility to share pictures of different models in a FRIENDLY competition... I believe we can all learn from the winner and this is a good way of showing us that we still have a lot to learn! That's what our hobby is about!

Congratulations Modelguy 2!!!
How very gracious!!! :-) :-) :-)
(your Suez stripes rock!!!)
Given the competition, I'm happy that I received any votes at all! After all, this was my first entry ever. Sooner or later, I'm gonna beat you!! Unfortunately, I have very little time to build these next weeks - otherwise we could have a seperate "Goose competition"!
Ps. I wanna see y'all do even better this month!!!

Hey Mal,
Thank you for all your work managing MOM--you are doing a great job and I appreciate you.
Congratulations on you winners--that means all of us. Jean-Luc, Mother, ModelGuy, Polarbear, everyone, it is very hard to decide how to vote, and getting harder!

Congratulations to the winners.
All really nice models entered.
Mal: I loved the commentary, like reading a modeling horse race.

Fine work all -- my congrats to all the participants! As an Armorama Talent Scout, I would like to offer here that the site is always willing to "showcase" fine modeling efforts like those shown here. Please consider submitting a series of pictures showing off your work to the site for a Models on Display or a home page Feature. Any questions as to how, please shoot me a pm.
Thanks.
Steve

Congratulations to all winners!
My choice for voting is very difficult cause of all participant's aircraft was excellent built.
And I don't forget to thank to Holdfast for his work on this result.

Thanks guys, although it can get a little "pent up" at times it does give me pleasure in presenting these models.
It might be interesting to ask how you all choose you own criteria for voting, but I won't. I will say though that I chose modelguy2 and his wonderfully rigged DH2 because I have yet to rig anything and therefor was inspired by it. There still seems to be a healthy interest in helos, but I don't have one to compete there, although I might try It was nice to see PolerBaers little dio doing well, again for me it was the inspiration of the guy hitting the water, wonderful
I will of course be entering this month but I'm in the middle of a lot of upheavel so it might not be until next week.
