Hi, Please I'm trying to search any reference or review for this model scale 1/48. I have the Ni-11 profipack of Eduard and I'm interesting to see several methods to paint and make this model.
Thanks

Hi Miguel!

I have an article about the build of Eduard's 1/48 Nieuport 11 profipack by your landsman Antonio Morante Bohorquez in Wing Masters n° 30. Great build article of Guynemer's "Vieux Charles".

There are some inside pictures that I can scan for you if you want... just PM me your e-mail and I'll send them tomorrow.

The site sells CD or downloads of WWI aviation model review articles on "How to build specific kits" with images of models and real aircraft in the body of the text. The CD's are larger files with more information.

I will see the photographs with very detail view.
Please, in the paint phase, Do you employ any special effects (example pre-sharing,....) in this model?
Thanks

Hi Miguel!

Glad you have the pictures...

Sorry, I didn't build the model... but I wish I did! As I said in a previous post, it was build by your landsman Antonio Morante Bohorquez. I don't have the privilege to know him personnaly but he's VERY talented!

I build one as I returned to the Hobby five years ago but I'm almost ashamed to show it. Anyway, I think we should assume our first efforts too so you can find it here:
Nieuport 16

Don't say I didn't warned you! :-)

Tedmamere, Thanks, fantastic model also. Very good. I like to paint as well as this.
I need ask you what is the process to paint the Nieuport. Step by step. For example:
I need to paint the wings after to joint to the fuselage?

Of course I need to paint the cockpit firstly. After to joint to the fuselage,...but I need to know the next steps.
Can you to explain me what is the next steps?

Thanks. and thanks for the photographs. Very beautifull.

Regards

Paint the wings after their joined? Why? Paint them, let them dry then put them together...join them.
Good luck

Hi Miguel!

As Stephen said, and I think he knows better than me how to build WW1 planes, the best way to buid a biplane is to glue the upper wing AFTER it is painted... It is much more easier for everything! Glueing, painting, rigging etc...

I would definitely follow his advice!

Thanks for both. Ok I get this instructions. But I suppose it is neccesary to paint the fuselage after to joint to the wing , or the process is the following:

I paint the cockpit (internal)
I joint the fuselage to the lower wing.
I paint the fuselage and the lower wing together.
Separatly, I paint the upper wing after to joint to tthe fuselage/lower wing

and later I joined the upper wing to the fuselage/lower wing.

Is Ok or not?

Thanks
