Looking forward to hanging out here too!

Welcome aboard, Bob. Very nice F-4.
FYI, we have a nice department here on Armorama called On Display, that you can submit your photos to, so they don't "trail off" in the forum posts. We are always looking for "fresh faces" to display their builds there.
Again, very nice build on the F-4. What scale ?
PS - Yes, nice is my word of the day, I guess. Used it 4 times in this message now.

Hello Rob and welcome to Armorama. Nice Phantom, what 1/48th kit she from and what paints did you use. Phantoms...one of my Favorites. Are the markings aftermarket or did they come from the kit.You may also want to enter it into the aircraft of the month. No prizes, just fun and bragging rights. LOL

Welcome to the Big A!
Your Phantom Blue Angels looks pretty good, modern aircraft is one of my favorites. I guess that you are an aircraft modeller, don't you?

I am taking part in the same GB, and IIRC, Sarge used the Monogram kit to build his Blue Angels bird.

I like the 48th scale kits, and this is a R/M 48th. I used the MM BA blue and yellow to paint it up. I did a Hornet in the BA config, and the decals were so pale I had to paint over them. These are kit decals and they came out ok. I did paint some areas rather than use the decals, such as the wingtips and tip of the tail.
I got a set of engine parts from Jack @ 3rdWire models for nuthin, and altho they were for the Hase kit, I think I got them to go on thisa build pretty good. My 1st resin parts!
Thanks for the good vibes....looks like I will b right at home here.

Big fan of the Blue Angels, love your work! Good kit choice to, the lesser modeled old school one. Not the flashy modern F-18. I love it!
