Hey all:
Two questions:
1)Is there a good source for reference shots on the engine dolly for the F-16?

2) Does anyone make replacement tail feathers/exhaust for the kit? I'd like to build the plane intact but leave the kit supplied engine out on display....

Thanks!

Best I can do Nat,

here is a excellent build article,
http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Fea2/1001-1100/Fea1015_F-16_Taylor/fea1015.htm

http://www.vmdstudios.com/Page3.html

I was unable to locate any resin/PE parts of the tail feathers/exhaust.

Joe:
thanks for the links and the photo. Like you I couldn't find a replacement rear end after checking a few of my usual retaliers. I'm contenplating contacting Tamiya about purchasing the sprues with those parts, but I would bet that might be an expensive proposition....

Here I am picking at another project when I have others that I should be working on. I'm hopeless (like the rest of us).

Nate, Check Cutting Edge!!!!! They to a mod for the GE engine labled as a "BIG Mouth", that exhaust will do for the Tamiya bird but it's built for the Hasagawa kit.
It's from their Tecknics line. but it's available from the Meteor Productions web page.
MetProd look under Tecknics fir the part. HTH STUG

Maybe you should think about casting your own. There are a lot of simple, cheap kits out there, and you can make extra parts.

Steve:
Thanks for the heads up. Meteor is actually one of the place I looked but I obviously missed this... time to go look again!

Jay:
Thought about that route too, but that sounds like an accident waiting to happen to me (possibly involving a structure fire!)
