This is really a supplemental question to my last one about detailing Airfix's 1/24 Spitfire 1A (and thanks to Ryan and Mike for their answers to that)
It looks like I'll have to do a fair bit of sratch building, and I was wondering if it's better to do this after the two halves of the fuselage have been joied together, or to do it before?

Hi Sean
Sorry, I missed your earlier post. If you're scratchbuilding cockpit detail (to any degree) it is always important to test fit everything before closing the fuselage halves - in fact, that's also true even if you're NOT scratchbuilding!
Hope this helps
