G'day Folk's,

This Tamiya 48 scale bird was originally built [when the kit was first released], in the mid '90's, as an OOB subject, complete with all the inaccuracies Tamiya but into this kit, having removed the original cammo scheme and removed the kit tailplanes.

Here is the progress to date of the rebuild and the Wartime photo of the subject, the wartime photo shows an unshrouded universal bomb rack fitted to the hard point of the wing. I intended to fir the shrouded type of universal bomb rack to my subject, along with a gun camera.

The pix show the added parts that the kit leaves out, I have removed to kit pilot seat, which will be replaced with a resin one.

Hi Rob!

That's interesting! How did you get that paint off your kit? Must have been a tough job I have at least on kit that I would like to "rebuild" also and I would be glad to know how you did that!

I think it's very courageous of you to "recycle" an old kit... good luck for that!

Jean-Luc
