As I remember there were two compaings on such subject (the last one wasn't concluded) so maybe try pick another subject like "Over the beaches of Normandy" or defending Polish and French sky.
I hope you'll find enough modelers to start a campaign.

There is a group build of the Battle of Britain going on at the moment on ARC.
Might be an option.

I would enter a Polish WW2 campaign right away...
Or what about planes flown by polish pilots or crews? You could build PZLs of course but also French or British machines!

Yep I built a Spit and BF109 dogfighting for our last BOB Campaign here almost 2 years ago for the 53rd annivesary of the Battle. It actually started out as HE111 getting chased by the spit but Hasagawa saved the dio from almost not getting done. their 1/48th bf109 are great kits and went together quick. You can count me in for it if you decide to go ahead. Plus, another bonus would be to make it a campaign like the last one. I'd love to redo that inflight dio again now that know more about the tactics more commonly used in battle. STUG
PS hey Mal how about a 109 diving trying to get the beautiful Spit to follow and stall that Might Merlin?!?!?!
What ya think???
