Today I some Monogram 48 scale Aircraft kits at a local store. I was interested to see a couple of century series fighters (F-100 and F-106 I think) and was wondering what you folks think of those old kits. Back in my AC days I remember them as being pretty good.
Help out an old Trackhead. The prices seem good and I'm thinking of picking up a couple.
I'm an OTB guy, so what do you think?

In the Monogram Century Series kits in 1/48 scale, Some are the best out there, simply because they're the only ones out there. The F-100, F-101, F-102, F-105, and F-106 are the only kits available in 1/48 scale. The F-104 kit is the only one that has been bested by the kit from Hasegawa. Overall, they are all acurate. And they fit well. But don't expect to build one without using putty.

Thanks Kevin. I got the F-100 and the F-102 today for around $10.00 each. Probably will go into the stash for a while, but they both look interesting.
