Ran across an article regarding this F-4 over at ARC and did some digging and came up with this Yahoo Group where Pierre Greutert has been posting progress of his 1/32 Tamiya F-4 Phantom for over a year. The work he has put into this thing is amazing...especially since Zip (his cat) practically destroyed the thing once...lol! Anyway, here's the link:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/F4sForever/messagesearch?query=Pierre%20Greutert%20Modeling%20Time-this link is the search results for the query "Pierre Greutert Modeling time". Look for the message headings just labeled as "Modeling Time" vice those listed as "Re:" (which are replies to his messages).
Here's a pic of the nose gear bay prior to painting:

I'm not sure if that's what he's doing or not but whatever it is, it's absolutely magnificent. Just the pictures of the stuff he's doing provides great inspiration to just build a great model out of the box.
He's got some awesome tool setups as well. In some of the pics you can see how he has his tools setup and how he uses them. The 'lath' in one of the pics looks like a dremel mounted horizontally in which he mounted a round piece of stock and formed a landing gear strut. Awesome stuff.
