Hi,
I am intending buying either AMT/ERTL DOUGLAS A-20G HAVOC 1:48 or AMT/ERTL DOUGLAS A-20J HAVOC 1:48. But can't make up my mind, can you please help, by telling me which is better or merely suppling reference websites links.
Thnaks & Cheers,
Bren

To the best of my knowlage, both kits are the same apart for the solid gun or clear bombardier nose. I've built the "G" version some time ago, IIRC it went together without major problems. I would advise you replace the main wheels, the molded tread pattern looks unrealistic (kinda resembles fish scales). There is (or was) a resin set which included the dinghy pack that was stowed behind the pilots cockpit. One other thing, although the kit supplies bombs and optional open bomb doors, these are best discarded unless you want to scratch-build the interior. There is no detail what-so-ever in that area.

Here are two reviews for the "G" I found at www.modelingmaddness.com
