Hi George,
I'm not a flying stuff modeler but I had the opportunity to get some pics of the interior of this "flying tank". You can see them in my gallery here.

Hello George

If you mean the 1/48 Revell/Monogram Hind it might be useful to get some of the Cobra Company Stuff (klick here) also usefull is the Eduard set. If you like to try some rescribing this kit is not so bad as there is not much to rescribe. The Trumpeter 1/48 kits are AFAIK bad copies of the Revell kit but with recessed panel lines (I do not have the kits, so I can't check)

Look what is achieveable with the Revell kit:

Which MI-24 kit do you have? Trumpeter's 1/35 kit is awesome. Cobra Company also has some upgrade sets for it as well, but it isn't really needed. The kit comes with its own PE too. Great kit. Eduard also makes PE sets for the 1/48 and 1/35 scale kits, not sure on any 1/72 PE or upgrade sets. Also, the Trumpeter 1/48 is not a direct copy of Monogram's 1/48 kit. It is based on it, but has a lot of different or improved items. Some believe it is better than the Monigram one.

Hello Gino

I am not sure if you are right with the 1/48 Trumpeter kits. One thing which is definitely other ist the Mi-24 P (twin side cannon) kit as those are not available in plastic elsewhere. The model by Kai Koglin in the pictures above is the a Mi-24 P done with the Revell kit and the Cobra Company conversion.

best regards

You can have your opinion, but comparing sprues, they are not the same.

Gino

NO offense intended!!

All I have is second hand info and that is, that the Revell/Monogram kit was copied (of course the sprues are different) and that the result is not better than the Revell (e.g. the "wings" ) ...

It would be nice if someone who has both kits could compare the parts?!

best wishes

Hi there Gino!
The kit i have is the 1/48 MiniHobbyModel.
Idon't intend to "stuff" it with upgrade kits drom eduard or other company!
I simple want to make the correct painting in the interior and the camouflage!
Thanks a lot!

George

For many camo schemes check this out:

http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww3/v/41

I would also recomment to take a look at Linden Hills "Bush War Hinds" decals sheets:

http://www.lindenhillimports.com/lhd48006.htm

http://www.lindenhillimports.com/lhd48012.htm

The decals are well researched and worth the price.
