So I began this project on Thursday....had a day off, the weather sucks, other projects need a break; it's pretty much done except for masking/painting the tactical number on the fuselage. I'll probably also re-do the aerial "wire"....I used some "Easy Line" I got at NATS this summer, and I'm clearly not used to working with it (FYI, cyano fumes shrivel it quicker than George Costanza's pool). All markings masked and painted with Tamia paints, and the harness is masking tape/solder. I'll post morepics when it's actually done.
Enjoy,
JK

Hi James!
It's Bf 109 E time! first Martin's one and now yours!
Apart from the aerial wire things I think it's a great model! The weathering is perfectly done. I love those flaps on picture 3! Very nice and subtle work! How did you do that: masks and/or drybrushing?
Great job! bravo!

Thank You Jean-Luc,
The weathering was all airbrushed freehand...the Swiss markings masked off and airbrushed. My next one will definitely be spotted!!

Hi James,
what a stunning paint scheme, as Jean-Luc said the weathering on the flaps is really effective. I also like the detail on the instrument panel.
