More superb photos of a wonderful build - the paint-job is awesome! The only details I can pick up are a restraining cable for the canopy and an aerial - most of my refs show the aerial emerging just in front of the DF loop on the 'K-4.
All the best and keep 'em coming.

The reason there is no aerial wires on my model is the wires are very frigile and and I almost always break them when I go to clean the dust off of them. I really hate doing repair work on models that are finished long ago.
I was reading Ken Merricks new book ''Luftwaffe Comouflage & Markings Vol.1'' and noticed in many of the pictures of the a/c the aerial wires are hard to see and in some pictures can't be seen at all so I think I will not be adding aerial wires to my models unless I would take them to a show or a model competition.

Les, You build and pictures look great. I really like the style of the pictures. Do you have a program that comes up with these effects (like in the 2nd one the random hair or scratch) or do you do them yourself? Anyway, they look good. Leon

Leon, On many of my B/W pics I add some random dirt, scratches and hair using Photoshop Elements 3.0 by Adobe. After looking at many wartime photos of German a/c I noticed some of the photos are in poor condition with much more dirt specks and hair than I put in my model pics and in some photos even parts of the photos are blurred. I try to copy some of those flaws in my pics but I do so very lightly as it is like weathering a model, it is really easy to go too far and ruin it. Sometimes less is more.

Les,
The very reason I used to not string the aerial. Now I do just for the challenge and as homage to the model gods
Another exceptional model!

Thanks Fred! These large scale Hasegawa kits are really easy to build the only real challenge is to get them painted correctly.
I need to get some glass display cases to put my models in so they won't collect dust as much as they do now and start putting those aerial wires back on my models.
BTW, your Me 262 is coming along nicely!

Great model as usual! The pictures are "Master Class"! In the future I'm sure some will show up in historical books as the "rare and never published pictures of the Luftwaffe"!

I would like to build a high quality Luft'46 model and try taking some B/W pictures of it and age them, it would be fun to try and fool some of the a/c experts into thinking they were real.
