Olá Jean-Luc!
Yes, it´s the Dragon Kit. It was an joke and an offer of a friend of mine, that bought it in a shop in the interior of Portugal for 10 euros, and then shipped it to Terceira, the island where i live, saying " It´s the cheapest that i found cause you don´t deserve better..." when i saw it, my jaw dropped, i had never seen a dragon kit before. Are they all with such good detail? In this kit, the fit is sometimes problematic, but i think it´s my fault. The wings were wrped, but i think i can solve it with some warm wather...
Thanks for the reply!

Hello Josepedro ,
Look like a great start, the engine looks pretty good. What's the scale. Looking forward to seeing more pics.
BTW: you should have the photos sized a bit smaller, 640x480 area. It's easier for those who still are using dial-up.

Hello all!!!
After some time without looking at this project, immersed on the A-7P, i must take a break from jet engines and go and have a breath on a prop...
Here´s some pics of the cockpit in a very early stage of painting and weathering as well as repainted wheel
pits.
Regards!!

Hi josé Pedro,
A good start, nice engine detail
Yep Dragon kits have excellent detail although the fit sometimes leaves a little to be desired. However time and patience will overcome any slight problems producing a good looking model. You are certainly on the way.

A fantastic kit of a great airplane! Very good work so far, please explain about wing warpage a bit further. Note that on the 152, outer wings have a distinct change of angle compared to the inner. Awaiting your progress!

Hello all!!
Here goes some more progress on this project!
Managed to finish the cockpit, and sealed it with the canopy.
Eugene, in all of my reference pics, the wings are very straight until the end. The kit was trully warped... so...
Regards.

Hello all !!!
Carlos, the canopy is masked with Tamiya Tape.
Yesterday i finished the engine, and put it where it should be. Hard like hell, it seemed that there was no space for it...
Anyway, here goes some pics...
Hope you like it!

Now that's what you call an engine. Fantastic work josé.
Will you build it with the engine panels open, as covering that engine up would be a crime.
Keep posting the pics.

Thanks Guys!
Yes the panels are going to be open.
As the flaps on the cowling are open too, i tried to replicate the radiator cells inside...
Next will be the flap mechanism... wish me luck...

Hi José!
Looks good so far!
How did you do the waves on the fuselage sides and the wings? Freehand, masking tape, Blu Tac?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to see the mottling!

Hello!!!
Holdfast and Jean-Luc, Thanks for the comments!
Jean-Luc, the waves were made using vegetal paper as a mask, but lifted from the surface +- 1 mm.
Yesterday, i did the mottling, and today was an hard session with the airbrush, fading away the main colors and accenting the panel lines.
Since this is my first Luftwaffe project, i would like some feedback before i seal this job with Future and start on with the decals and Oils...
regards from Azores and thanks for looking!!!

Hello!!
i had some big problems with the Dragon decals, or i am lousy at decalling...
the numbers are from the kit decal sheet, the swastika is from aeromaster, and the rest, i decided to introduce myself in painting markings...
Here goes some pics!

Looking really good Jose. The Dragon Ta-152 H has always been a favorite of mine, and to see one in the build process is interesting.
The work you've done masking and spraying the national markings is excellent.
From memory wasn't Green 4 flown by Joseph Kiel, the only Ta-152 ace?

Hi Jose. You have done a great paint job and panel lines enhaicing, specially in the wings.
It looks great. Can´t wait to see the final pics.
