this is a little update on this build, im doing the different colours individually, to keep the preshading effect, ive run out of the lighter colour so i started with the dark earth.

So this is not going to be a nightfighter after all. I'm looking forward to see how the camo with pre-shading and Blu-Tac sausages will look like...

ive got all the dark earth sections finished, but i need to get another tin of the lighter colour, and im not working near any lhs's at the minute. its looking quite nice and i'll try to get my other half to pick up a tin, cos i want to finish this one now

Hey Phil, looks nice so far. One question though, what P-40 kit are you doing, and what are the markings that you are putting on it?

hi ian, its the airfix 1/72 kit, that will be finished as an aircraft of 112 squadron RAFnorth africa 1942. hey jean luc, nice avatar! looks just like you :-)

im hoping to get it to telford, but ive run out of the lighter colour, so i got my missus to pick up a tin, but she's forgot to leave it for me! however the dark earth is finished as i post, and the spinner is red. just took a pic, the strange colour variation on the dark earth is a shadow cast by a light on the other side of my bench
