Hi Tomcat 14,
Is your F-16D a 2 seater, and a 1/48 scale Hasegawa kit? If so, I have a resin cockpit set from "Black Box". I can't get my hands on a kit to use it in and don't want it to just sit on the shelf.

Hi LadyModelbuilder ,
Yes My Viper is from Hasegawa but in 1:72 scale - set name F-16D IDF"BRAKEET" with some resin parts for electronical equipment - I think this version with conformal tanks will have BLOCK 60 upgrade ? but I don't remeber - maybe only production is for Israeli AirForce , but thank's Penny for Your kind .
Cheers

Tomcat,
If I recall correctly, the F-16D Brakeet used by the IDF are all Block 40 F-16Ds modified with the electronics spine that houses ECM and SEAD equipment. The new Block 60 F-16s will have a similar spine (but not necessarily of the same dimensions) which will also house additionial avionics and other equipment. The Block 60s will probably also be fitted with the conformal fuel tanks that you mentioned. I have not heard of any plans to modify the Brakeets with conformal fuel tanks. The Block 40 F-16D Brakeet was built to IAF specifications and is the sole operator of this aircraft.

Hi ,
Thanks FAUST - every links are helpfull , BlueFalcon47 - You have right , I was thinking about U.S upgrade not F-16D IDF -(error in writing) afcourse is Block40 and is without conformal tanks . In Lockheed marketing /catalouge are drawings with block 60 F-16 D but without painting - I want to build my F-16 D with this Spine - but in U.S Camo .
Thank's BlueFalcon for corect "My thinking"
Best Regards
