hi all! the background to this post is that recently i brought a bunch of p/e for the revell 190 im going to build for the nightfighter group build, including a set of repacement aerials. thing is they turn out to be a different radar set than the one on the kit. however they can be used on either a FW 190 or a Bf 109, so is there a 1/72 kit of an FuG 217 equiped 109 g/k? if not any reccomends on the best kit of these types? and following on any info about markings and decal sets would be appreciated. ive had a google about but havent found anything too helpful

The 109 didn't use the array you refer to. The Osprey book on Nightfighters has several 109G6 & 14's shown in profile. The 190 was (I think) was an Fw190A8/ R8 or R11. hope this helps

i have a FW 190 R-11kit by revell, its the reason i bought these aerials, i was surprised when i got the p/e replacements as they were 17 small "whip" aerials as opposed to the wing mounted "stags antlers" i was expecting. according to the instructions on the revell 190 it had either a FuG 217 j-20 or 218 j-3, the p/e is for a FuG 217 j-3 (blimey! im confused now, and im writing this) basically the p/e instructions show a 109 and a 190 bristling with extra aerials, does this ring any bells?
